Artico
Artico - Artists-in-Connection - is an artist run volunteer organization reuniting Czech and Slovak
artists and their artistic friends living in Canada.
“Alone we are nothing, as a group we have power to connect and reflect LOVE LIGHT
ENERGY to others through our soul and our art to the universe.”

Who is Artico
Artico Artists-in-Connection reunites Czech, Slovak artists and their
artistic friends in Toronto. The group welcomes artists working with all
mediums, various styles and sculptures. The group is still in its infancy.
In 2008, Artico offers its artists a monthly exhibition space in the Rivoli.
Shortly, Artico will expand the venues to offer more group show
possibilities and many other initiatives are in the works. Each artist
contributes to the growth with volunteered help for success of the group.
ARTICO was founded in December 2007 by artists Pavla Quinn and Charlene
Chartrand in conjunction with Zuzana Hahn who represents HOT (Hearts Open
Toronto) music shows.
Our Goal
Artico’s goal is to bring artists to light. We offer an exhibition space for its artists, serve as a springboard for artists careers, reunite people sharing the same passion and to display beautiful art to everyone.
What we do
Today, Artico orchestrates exhibitions from its artists at the Rivoli Retaurant on Queen Street East in Toronto, Canada main street for art and culture. Artico also creates exhibitions in galleries on a national and international scale. The first exhibition grouped more than 10 artists and the reception in collaboration with the HOT Sunday showcase welcomed more than 100 people. Every month there is always an Artico artist solo or group show. The group also offers various services to its members and assists them in the growth of their career.
Our motto
“Alone we are nothing, as a group we have power to connect and reflect LOVE LIGHT
ENERGY to others through our soul and our art to the universe.”
Our next steps
The next steps for the group is to connect artists, spread the Artico word and expand its resources for its artists.
