Catherine Munn

I studied painting and drawing at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto, Canada and I have been drawing and painting from the age of eleven. I paint to music-always. I paint what moves me. I paint images from my life and in a style that is all my own. Even with all of what technology now offers, I still prefer traditional mediums. The colour mixing,the odours, the mess, the technical difficulties with each medium's properties, an occasional exacto knife wound, the stains on clothing. No delete and no step backward. The fight to satisfy the heart and the eye is a difficult one.
