As a naturalist and wildlife enthusiast, Cedric Colond has always enjoyed spending time outdoors. An interest in art began as a child and has developed into a lifelong passion. Courses completed in 2003 include Biology 'Nature of Ontario', Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology. Cedric originally began creating fine art as gifts for family and friends, touring with art festivals. The 'New Canadians' exhibit in June 2007 at the Parkdale Gallery evoked a very strong response, leading to the invitation to be an exclusive artist with the gallery indefinitely. Cedric's artwork features nature and wildlife with a focus on color and light, a total reinvention of traditional styling.
