Christa Treadwell is a Canadian photographer based in Toronto, Ontario. Originally from Georgian Bay, Christa was never without creative fodder having grown up amidst her parents home based Retirement home. An Applied Photography Diploma from Sheridan College later, her focus is conceptual elements in landscape, portraiture, and still life; resulting in a style that is a combination of her zest as well as the belief in breaking the rules.
While fulfilling a 23 year itch back to her family roots in Germany, wild mushrooms-- the image from her mothers accounts of handpicking them in East Prussia as a WWII refugee-- was the perfect homage to a definitive experience.
