Draw it, Cut it, Paint it, Glue it.
The artwork of Canadian scrollsaw artist Dave Danchuk is created by first drawing a design on a piece of MDF (multi-density fiberboard), then using a scrollsaw to cut the wooden surface into hundreds of tiny twisty pieces. These small interlocking pieces are then hand painted using acrylics, and finally glued on to a backing board.
