Katie Pryse

"I am a recent graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University where I graduated with a BA in Fine Arts. Throughout my university career, I focused my energies on developing new and experimental ways of expressing my creativity. Working in acrylics, I add the element of texture to my work by incorporating materials such as wax, stucco, sea salt and glue into my pieces. I describe my paintings as being non representational and minimal in nature. In the absence of form, I use colour and texture to convey emotion.
