Marco Simola

I'm Italian and I was born in Florence. Actually I live in Lima, Perù. I've spent the last two years capturing images of the city of Milan, especially of its Metro. Actually I'm searching the hidden places in the Latin American cities, together with another project, called "Cose a Caso" ("Casual Thing") using the new technologies offered by the digital photograpy to manipulate my images. The photos of these projects show hidden corner of the cities and the simplicity of the common objects.
My works were exposed in many galleries in Italy and in some virtual galleries in Internet. Until the end of july 2008 some of my photos are exposed in the Coco de Mer cafè-gallery in miraflores, Lima Perù. Recently I've won the International Fahrenheit Photo Competition in the section Web Community Award.

All my photographs are printed with very high professional quality using the better carbon ink inkjet method (you can see more of this here: http://www.cjcom.net/articles/carbonink.htm), present at the moment on the market.
All photos are printed on high quality cotton print paper.
Photographs can be normally printed as follow:
* Aprox. 30x40 cm. No numbered and no sign.
* Aprox. 50x70 cm. Signed and numbered in 7 copies.
* Aprox. 100x70 cm. Signed and numbered in 5 copies.
* Bigger or special size. Signed and numbered in 3 copies. Some photo can also be printed in only 1 copy and of course signed. This is only under request and it is not valid for al photographs
