Pia Villarama

I'm a Filipino living in Sydney, Australia and I have lived here for almost 8 years now. My interest in photography started when I traveled on my own around the U.S., U.K., Europe and Asia - taking as many photos as I could while I was walking the streets alone, or eating at the restaurants that I went to.
At the time, my main focus was food - I loved taking pictures of the food that I made and I ate... and I loved writing about them too. After a while, I started to take interest in static objects that I saw around me, and guess what? I wrote about them too. Photography isn't just about pictures for me. What I show is what I feel at any given time that a photograph is taken. I am not a pro... not yet. But I'll get there one day.
