I call my work dexpressionism. The reason being that I couldn't as of yet decide what exact style my art is classified as. Although I am influenced by many artists and a combinations of styles & technique including my photography, I am still in the process of developing my own unique style.
The "" SUBJECT "" is based on modern day woman/people and I make use of some fashion elements, as reference to specific time and setting. The use of mostly black & white an extremely bright colours is the foundation of the exploration of my style.
The Black & white and high contrast images seems to portray and express emotion more intensely than other. Have a look at the work of American Mc Gee... his drawings are way more fantacy based -but definately makes for interesting reference material. My favourite artist at this time is without any doubt : Mr Jack Vettriano...."
