Sami Siva

Sami Siva was born and raised in rural parts of South India. While growing up, the exposure to tight knit middle class family dynamics and incongruent social and political situations have conditioned him to have an unique take on the world. He graduated as an engineer and left India in the year 2000 to work in Canada. His direct involvement with globalization has had a significant influence on his photography.
Sami Siva currently lives in Toronto and works on social documentary photography projects, specializing in the aspects of 21st century globalization.
