Victor Bentzvi was born in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia in 1977 and currently lives in Israel, to where his family emigrated in the early 90's. Mechanical cameras and red light are part of his childhood memories from his father and grandfather who were great enthusiasts.
As an adult, he took up photography when he started his academic studies in politics and philosophy. His interest and knowledge in art and craft of photography has gradually grown and while developing his master degree thesis about "genuine perception and cognition", he parallelly decided to follow his love to the magnetic power of photography, directed his efforts to expertise especially in traditional black & white photography, developing his aesthetic attitudes and authentic language of pure photographic expression. Today, Victor is an internationally working and exhibited photographer.
