WhiteFeather has received national recognition for her textile-based work through spotlights in Mix Magazine, Surfacing Journal, Arts Atlantic, Green Banana and the CBC. She has received multiple awards, grants and scholarships over the past several years, including from the Canada Council for the Arts and artsnb. She also received the 2005 New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts Emerging Artist of the Year Prize. WhiteFeather has shown her work in several solo exhibitions throughout the Maritime region, as well as in numerous group and collaborative exhibitions. Currently, WhiteFeather works as an Instructor at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and at the Centre for Arts and Technology. WhiteFeather holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts from UNB as well as a Diploma in Fine Craft (Textiles) from NBCCD.
